How To: Voicemail Instructions
VOICEMAIL Instructions
Press the ENVELOPE button on your phone.
Press 0 for Mailbox Options
· Press 1 to record your unavailable message (most common & used by default)
· Press 2 to record your busy message (this can only be used if your line is part of a dial plan)
· Press 3 to record your name
· Press 4 to record your temporary greeting. This type is mainly used for when you are on vacation, holiday, etc. (out of the office). Please note that this greeting overrides the other two message types when selected
· Press 5 to change your password (which we always recommend)
· Press * to return to main menu
How to Change your Greeting
- Determine which type of greeting you want to use (see above types)
- Press the voicemail button on your phone (Envelope icon)
- Dial your password (default is 0000)
- Press 0 for Mailbox Options
- Press the appropriate button for the desired greeting type
- Follow the voice prompts to accept, review or re-record the recording, then hang up
Remove a Temporary Greeting
1. Pick up your handset & dial *98 (to access the voicemail menu) & press the CALL soft button
2. At the prompt, enter your extension number (4 digits)
3. At the prompt, enter your voicemail password
4. Press 0 for Mailbox Options
5. Press 4 for Record Temporary Message
6. Press 2 to Delete Temporary Message. This will place your Unavailable Message as the default
